We love doing events in Downtown Monroe. The crowds are always fantastic, the vibes are unmatched, and the event staff is incredible. From its local shops and restaurants to its welcoming community, Downtown Monroe is one of the coolest and most vibrant downtowns around.

Well, this is not the post I wanted to make today.

Unfortunately, our truck broke down and we won’t be able to make it to the Lula Car Show tomorrow. We were really looking forward to being there and serving everyone.

If you’re planning to attend, please still go out and support the event! It’s going to be a great day celebrating Lula’s 150th Anniversary with lots of beautiful cars, vendors, and activities. The event runs from 8 AM–2 PM at 5831 Athens Street in Lula.

We’re disappointed to miss it, but we appreciate everyone’s understanding and support. Hopefully we’ll see y’all at the next one!

🎸🤘 If you’re headed to the First Friday Concert tonight in Monroe, make sure you stop by Dawgs Ice and grab something cold before the show!

Tonight’s band is Houses of the Holy, a Led Zeppelin tribute band, and it’s going to be a great night on the Town Green. Good music, good people, and a shaved ice in your hand sounds like a pretty solid Friday night to me.

This is actually my personal favorite lemonade flavor we make. 💚

Fun fact: My nephew was the one who suggested we add this flavor to our menu—and I’m glad he did!

It reminds me of a green apple candy with the refreshing kick of lemonade.
