Daddy Rick’s will be there!
As we all know way too well, the pandemic brought many changes to our lives including the increase in prices to just about everything- including the cost of our amazing floats we have grown attached to each fall. The board had made a hard decision to cancel this year’s parade because the price of the floats had literally doubled. We made the announcement on Facebook, and the community said “ABSOLUTELY NOT!” So we are happy to say that because of the contributions that came from the wonderful citizens and businesses of Hoke County- the NC Fall Festival Parade is back in action!
The parade will feature floats from each Hoke County school, local businesses, nonprofit organizations, car clubs, cheerleaders, sports teams, first responders, and more! The Hoke County High School Mighty Marching Bucks always brings down the house with a spectacular performance destined to hype up any crowd.
Bring a chair, your friends, and family and grab a spot on Main Street to enjoy the music, the sights and the roars of classic car engines as the parade rolls through.
The parade will start at 5:30 pm at Hoke County High where the entrants will line up. The parade route will take them down Harris Avenue, onto Main Street, then turns left onto West Donaldson Avenue to Bethel Road and goes back to the high school to finish up.
We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow! Make sure you share your pictures with us!
