My twinner girls that aren’t twins 😂😂 so crazy how identical these girls are with 2 totally different mommas. Our bigger girl is Boogie and we have started calling little girl Shuggie. ❤️❤️

Knix is NOT a fan of sharing her kid. She is probably our number 1 most scary mom 😂😂 Here’s to long zoom pictures and videos for the first 6 months of this babies life until we wean her and can finally get within arm distance 😂😂😂 Can’t beat that Brahma mama attitude though and never have to worry about anyone messing with her kid.

When I tell yall that we as farmers have been tested to the maximum this past weekend I am not exaggerating. Multiple instances have tested our love and desire to continue with our cattle herd. We have never come so close to pulling the trigger and selling everything we own. Farming is hard, point blank period. Today while feeding I just sat and looked over my herd and told myself that no matter how hard it gets this is what my life is supposed to be. Through all the pain and heartache that it brings the little miracles are what keep us going. Today god blessed us with the most stunning heifer calf I have ever seen. Just when we’re on the brink of calling it we are slapped in the face with a miracle that tells us we are doing okay. Hold onto those hopes and dreams because it’s what keeps you going. I’ve always dreamed to be where I am today and sometimes you just need to step back and enjoy what’s right in front of you. These are my little things and I thank god every single night, even when his plan may seem like it’s veering off track I just hold on because he always steers it back to where we’re supposed to be. ❤️

Sage blessed us with a healthy baby boy ❤️ poor girl was so uncomfortable all evening yesterday and our final check around 8:30 she still hadn’t fully gone into labor. We checked her first thing this morning and she had a perfect baby boy. Welcome to the world little Firecracker. 🧨

New girl on the farm 😍 Another Heifer to the herd. Born last evening and shewwww is she something. The most jet black color with my favorite roan speckles in her neck, belly and butt. Her momma got her name Psycho for that exact reason 😂 hopefully we can get better pictures once she’s a lot older and mom won’t care as much. Thankful and blessed for a healthy calf 💕

Miss Itty Bitty has finally found her forever home. This sweet girl was a heifer out of last years crop that I originally was going to keep back for myself. After seeing a few of this years crop I realized she was gonna have to go. We posted her with no real luck on the perfect home, untillll I got an offer I couldn’t resist. My daughter Brynlee is working on expanding her little herd and wanted to add a second heifer as she already owns 1 cow. She is 8 years old and you have probably seen her in pictures and videos but she is a cow lover just like us. We bought her a bottle baby a few years back and she has had a few calves that she has sold off and created her own little farm account. She decided she wanted to cash in some money on another heifer for her herd and we decided Itty was the perfect girl. We worked out a deal and she purchased this girl off of me with of course a family discount but it worked for both of us. Welcome home sweet girl, you have the perfect home and the perfect momma.

The best way to spend our evening is with the babies. These little guys always make everything better. All the heartache we have had makes you even more thankful for each little life every year.
