Sorry for the graphic pics but I feel this needs to be posted. Today one of our sheep was a attacked by a stray dog on Lakewood rd. This poor baby is alive and will probably make it as long as we keep infection at bay. But she lost both of her ears and numerous small puncture wounds on her body. What makes things worse is that she pregnant and at this time we do not know if she will carry her baby or babies to term. This dog was a black and white fuzzy medium sized dog. We have no more info on this dog. If anyone knows of a canine matching this description please contact us at 570-280-0243 u can remain completely anonymous. Also, for those of you who have followed our Great Pyrenees, Luke. Then you know that we removed him from our farm because of certain people complaining about him leaving our property and stepping onto their precious driveway in his daily routine of patrolling a ridding our farm from predators, wild and domestic. Well, now y'all see how vital it is to have a livestock guardian dog on duty when u have livestock, small and large. So for all of you that loved follow Luke, guess what, HE IS COMING HOME!!!!! This would have never happened if he had been on the job. To those of you that complained about Luke, this is exactly why we had him in the first place and it very well could have been ur livestock. So I do not want to hear anymore about him being outside our perimeter of our property. He is not hurting U or Ur's. He only means well and was doing a wonderful job. This poor ewe is maimed for life because of people who have " Dangerous" dogs run loose. So why don't you bitch about them and not about a kind soul like Luke, who's main objective is to protect, not to harm! So for those of you who rallied around and defended Luke, please do so now. Please slow down around the corner of Lakewood rd and 340 during dusk to dawn, for that is when he is patrolling our property and surrounding areas. Thanks to all of you who love him and supported us before we removed him from our farm. And plz keep your eyes open for this dog. We have no idea where he is but he is somewhere around Lakewood rd- Mill Creek rd and 340. If you know who he belongs to plz call Audra or the dog warden. Thank u and Blessings to all.
