Well, it's been a WHILE. I have done a few cakes over the Summer, but still trying to take it easy. One thing I learned this past weekend thanks to a wedding cake: how to revive a Hydrangea! Talk about stressing out! Haha!

Hello everyone. I have an announcement to make. I am taking a hiatus from cake baking/decorating until further notice. I will still do the orders that have come in for future events, but I will not be taking any new orders. Life is getting hectic/stressful and will only get worse once Pacen starts high school in August. I need to take some time to focus on being a good mom and to take care of me. I want you all to know that I GREATLY appreciate the amazing support you have shown me over the past 2-3 years! You really have no idea how much all of you mean to me. I'll let you know when I decide to return to this cake venture.

A Caramel Cake with Caramel Frosting for Aaron and Byron's wedding. It was definitely an interesting cake to make and it turns out an ingredient is missing from the recipe in the cookbook! No wonder it seemed so strange when it baked up! Haha!
