Employee spotlight: Charlie Marottek
Job title: Lead Cutter/Assistant Manager
Charlie joined the team in September 2021, and brought some major meat mixology skills with him. He is a good organizer and enjoys helping customers. His knife skills are amazing and he is teaching his sister to break down a whole beef.
If he’s not working at the shop, you can find Charlie out on a river or lake, fishing (and catching). He also enjoys hunting and trapping and has started tanning some small hides.
He plans to take wild game in the fall, here at the shop.
We very much enjoy having our oldest son join our butcher shop team and look forward to his youthful vision of where our business can go!

Chuck is our fearless leader and he enjoys taking to customers and helping them with learning different cuts of meat and optimizing their output from their beef or hog.
When he’s not cutting beautiful steaks, he enjoys bow hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family.
