There are things in life that don’t work out as one plans. I’ve had an ongoing issue with the pigs getting out of their pen. Sadly, a few days ago they discovered the garden and though the garden is fenced, they pushed through the fence to demolish my melon crop. Beautiful watermelons, canalope and honeydew melons were flourishing, and for the most part are now gone. This event has changed the course of direction this summer.

Farm fresh melons and flowers are quickly on their way to flourishing! 2 types of watermelon, canalope, honeydew, fresh basil and wildflowers! All are organically grown! Dates for evening visits will be posted mid week for next week! grown .

Did I mention everything grown on the farm is truly organic? No chemicals whatsoever used on any of the plants! Watermelons are coming on strong, followed by the cantaloupes and honeydew!
