🌾🍓 Important Update from McRay Farms🍓🌾

Dear friends and loyal supporters,

We hope this message finds you well! We have some bittersweet news to share. Due to a whirlwind of changes in our lives, we regret to inform you that McRay Farms will not be offering strawberries in 2025. As many of you know, life has been busy for us, and we are proud to announce that Melissa has earned her doctorate and is now a nurse practitioner! While we are thrilled for her new journey, it leaves us with little time to grow strawberries this year.

We’re still figuring out what the future holds, and it's yet to be determined if we will bring back those sweet strawberries in 2026. Your continued support means everything to our family farm, and we are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.

Thank you for being such an amazing community! 💚 We will keep you updated on any future plans. Until then, take care, and we hope to see you all soon!

Closed for the 2024 season. The plants are producing small berries indicating their last cycle and some have stopped producing. We want everyone to have a great picking experience and this prevents meeting the demand. There are other great strawberry picking farms on Oklahoma. Check out Oklahoma Agritourism for a list of strawberry, peach, blackberry and blueberry farms. Have a great summer!

🍓🍓open for U-Pick, Saturday, 5-11-24, from 9-11 or until picked out. There will be no pre-picked berries🍓🍓

Update for Saturday 5-3-24. We will be CLOSED!😪 We had Alot of rain and berries don't do well with rain and humidity. They get very mushy. The patch is wet and muddy. We will plan to reopen for u-pick next week, allowing us time to clean the patch. 🍓🍓🍓

We had a great turn out yesterday for U-pick. The berries need time to ripen. We will reopen on Saturday, May 4th for U-pick. 9-12 or until picked out. We will not have pre picked flats available. **Days are subject to change if berries ripen quicker than estimated**

Update for U-pick 🍓🍓🍓

The berries are starting to produce enough to be open for u-pick 🎉
We will open during the week as well as weekends. Days of the week and weekend will vary depending on ripening of the berries. I will post weekly with updates. We will begin next week, depending on how much rain we get.
$6.00/ pound to pick. We provide buckets to pick and boxes to take home. We accept cash and credit.
