Big shout-out to Nicole for 20 years here at IGA!

Nicole started here in high school (alongside future husband Josh) as a cashier. She learned how to close, managed schedules, trained new cashiers, then stepped over to deli to help while pursuing her passion in culinary school.

After a few years, Nicole returned to the front end for schedule flexibility as she started a family. Over the years, she has added more and more to the role, including building out our entire online shopping experience during the 2020 pandemic.

She has taken on responsibilities in management, customer service, and technical support - foundational skills that will serve her well in her new role as an insurance producer at Dhuey Insurance Agency!

Nicole will be missed, but we are all very proud of her for taking on big responsibilities just down the street.

Now's the time to recognize the best of the best in Luxemburg: Nominate someone you know for Person of the Year or the Community Service Award! https://luxemburgchamber.com/2026-chamber-award-nominations/

We are looking for the best of our community - and we need your help!

Every year we honor a great volunteer with the community service award and declare our person of the year. These great people often work behind the scenes with little fanfare. We need you to tell us all about them so we can give them the honors they deserve!

Consider people working in your organization, or who you've seen in the community - do these descriptions match someone you know?

Person of the Year: This award honors a business person in our community who embodies the ideals of our community through both good business practices and civic responsibility.

Community Service Award: This award honors a selfless person in our community who has dedicated significant time and effort making a difference in our community.

Follow the link below to nominate great people by October 15th:
