Whiskey Waffle

I haven’t updated on here in a while soooo I thought I would since I’ve heard a rumor that Whiskey Waffle went out of business lol. If “went” out of business means failed, that isn’t the case. We were thriving on most days. If “went” out of business means I sold it because I didn’t enjoy it, ding ding ding, that is 100% the case. Lugging around a giant kitchen on wheels is just not for me. I contemplated selling it at the end of 2024 into the beginning of 2025 but kept going back and forth. But then I broke my leg in October of 2025 and it was like God decided for me 😂

Would I love to have a brick and mortar one day? Definitely! I can still picture what that looks like, but right now is just not the time. I will be keeping this page though for when the time does come! And I’m also still doing some waffle bars and catering so feel free to message me if you have questions about that!

Butttttttt, for all my nosey Nancy’s out there like myself, I do love the business I created. It saved me from a job that I fear I’d still be at today if I hadn’t put my anxiety to the side and dove in head first. It showed me I am so creative. And most importantly, it showed me I can literally do anything I put my mind to.

All of that being said, I’m in my “do whatever I want” era. This is the first time in my life that I’ve ever got to think about what little Becca wanted in life and I’m finally making steps in that direction.

So for any curious minds, here’s what that looks like:

-I’m a writer now 🥹 I can remember being 8 years old in my scary childhood bedroom dissociating and unloading my brain onto paper or a screen. And again, working at that job I mentioned earlier, coming home after 12 hour shifts trying to write a book, but then giving up after chapter 1. (I have like 8 chapter 1s in my computer lol). It took me until I was 31 in early 2025 to realize I HAVE to write. There’s no other option. So, now I’ve written and completed two books!! One is about to be self published in the next few months (in the final editing stages now) and I’m in research mode for the next (which I’m so excited about I cannot contain it!) I’m also brainstorming with a friend about cowriting a different book 🖤 and discussing another little project with my hunny.

-I’m taking EFA editing courses to help edit my own books but also yours if you need an editor! Should have many certificates next year! (I will need to practice what I’ve learned after each course so if you’re writing a fiction book and would like a free little edit, let me know! I have a friend that writes only non fiction, so I might eventually take those courses too. We’ll see.)

-If you follow my personal page, you’ll see I’m in my reseller era too. Although that is making me money, it’s also just so incredibly fun and I was basically already doing it for free lol. I could spend HOURS in a thrift store so that’s exactly what I do about 2 times a week 🙂 I sell it all now though so Jacob doesn’t yell at me for my shopping addiction 😂

-There are a few other things in the works as well involving fresh milled bread/unprocessed ingredients and antiques, buttttttttt we won’t get into all of that right now 😉

Anywhoooo, I just wanted to give an update. Thank you all for supporting my little dream. And who knows, next year I might do something crazy like become a sky diving instructor 😂 I’ll keep yall updated if I do ✌️🫶
