Isn’t it remarkable? How a farmer can rise before dawn and still find the strength to persevere. How he’ll invest time, resources, and labor into cultivating life-giving crops that nourish countless families. He bravely confronts the challenges of nature, from scorching droughts to relentless floods, and tirelessly works to bring forth abundance. While others may be frustrated by minor setbacks, he remains steadfast in the face of adversity. Despite the obstacles, he continues to plant, to nurture, and to harvest. Why? Because he knows that his dedication will bring joy to a child’s lunchtime, warmth to a family’s dinner table, and comfort to a stranger’s daily life. And though his name may remain unknown, he takes pride in knowing that his work brings life, sustenance, and hope to a world in need. So here’s to the farmers - the quiet heroes who feed our communities, the unsung champions who bring forth life from the earth, and the resilient stewards who keep our world thriving. May we honor their tireless efforts and celebrate the profound impact they have on our lives.

When it comes to height, no one quite reaches the level of the Dutch. The average Dutch man stands at an impressive 183 cm (6 ft)—making the Netherlands officially the tallest nation in the world.

But here's what makes it truly fascinating:
📏 In just 150 years, the Dutch grew by 20 cm, overtaking every other nation. In the 18th century, Americans were the tallest. Today? The Dutch are looking down—literally.

So what’s behind this remarkable growth spurt? It's not just about genetics...

🔹 Top-tier healthcare: The Netherlands boasts one of the best healthcare systems in the world, focused on healthy pregnancies, disease prevention, and early development.

🔹 Less illness = more growth: Every time your body fights illness, it uses energy that could otherwise go toward growth. Fewer infections, better childhood health = taller adults.

🔹 A love affair with dairy: Dutch people have an insatiable appetite for milk, cheese, and yogurt. And it shows. Calcium is crucial for bone growth, and the Dutch get plenty of it.

🔹 Cows, cows, cows: Fun fact—The Netherlands is one of the most densely populated countries with cows! It’s a global leader in dairy production, export, and consumption.

So, what’s the secret?
🧀 A cow-rich country with great doctors and a lot of cheese. That’s the Dutch formula for standing tall.

“Be subject for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether it be the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and praise those who do good”
~ 1 Peter 2:13–14).

We have serious issues locally and nationally and need to vote for those who represent our values.
It is not for a personal popularity contest, but for the agenda, the values and the platform that will make America the greatest it can be.
Educate yourselves, fill out the ballots, turn it in at the local county ballot box or mail it in.
That’s our symbol of freedom, our patriotic duty!
Do not wait. Every vote counts!

⚠️Listen up....⚠️ We are going to tell you the uncensored truth about dairy farming! 👇🏻

-The truth is dairy farming is hard. 💪🏻

-The truth is input costs continue to rise while income continues to drop.

-The truth is farmers receive only 15 cents out of every dollar spent on food (in 1980, farmers received 31 cents); the rest goes for costs beyond the farm gate: wages, materials for production, processing, marketing, transportation and distribution. 💰

-The truth is that 97% of dairying is a multi-generational family business; with women making up 30% of the total number of US farm operators.

-The truth is dairy farms across the US employ millions of people whose livelihoods & families incomes depend on our success; and we take that very seriously. 👨‍🌾🧑🏽‍🏭👨🏼‍💻👷🏾‍♂️

-The truth is we farm with the hope that our children will be able to one day follow in our footsteps, if they so choose. ❤️

-The truth is some groups lead you to believe we treat our animals poorly, when in reality great amounts of attention is paid to the quality of care that they receive.

-The truth is that no matter the “size” of the dairy farm, we care for our animals as if they are extensions of our families.

-The truth is we grieve at the loss of our cows. 😞

-The truth is we care for the land and strive to be respectful stewards of it. 🌾 ♻️

-The truth is that NY has lost over 2,100 dairy farms since 2012; that's more than 20% of the total dairy farms in NYS.

-The truth is there are just over 35,000 dairy farms remaining in the US, this number dropped 8.8% in just the last year alone!

-The truth is less than 2% of the population feeds everyone else, yet many believe they know more about farming than a farmer, although they have never set foot on a farm or walked a day in our shoes.... 🥾

This is REAL dairy farming. There's lots of blood, sweat and tears that go into each and everyday. Dairy farming is what we do at Barbland and White Eagle Dairies, it's who we are and what we were put on this earth to do. We're not asking for sympathy, just for some understanding and trust, and....if you ever have questions about the dairy farming....ask a farmer....not Google.
