This Friday we are releasing a collaboration beer we made with our friends at Stoup Brewing for our 15th anniversary series! Citrus Hit The Fan is a West Coast IPA with a blast of Tangier, Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe hops, juicy citrus, and just the right amount of family farm chaos!
We will have cans and draft available starting during the release party this Friday from 5-9PM. We will also have some other beers on tap from Stoup including:
-Citrus Hit the Fan IPA
-Mixtape Romeo WC Pilsner
-NW Red Ale
-Mosaic Pale Ale

Join us this Thursday from 5-9PM as we celebrate the release of our collaboration beer with Chuckanut Brewing! New Zealand Pilsner is a crisp refreshing lager showcasing vibrant tropical and citrus hop flavors unique to New Zealand.

Today is the 15th Anniversary of Special Brews! As this is a large milestone for us we are celebrating with several brewery collaboration beers over the next few months. We started the collaborations with Structures - Gustave IPA and now today we have Chuckanut - New Zealand Pilsner. We will have cans and draft available at open today as well as an event next Thursday (5/7) with Mari from Chuckanut here! To add to the festivities on draft today we have Cantillon - Fou' Foune!
Look for other collaborations we have confirmed with Mirage Beer, Stoup Brewing and Holy Mountain in the future with more details to follow.

This Friday from 5-10PM Dick Mergens will be hosting his birthday here in support of his beloved charity the National Multiple Sclerosis Society! There will be raffles and prizes available. We will also have kegs of a beer we made years ago "Jake Gave Dick Wood" on tap including the Whiskey and Tequila barrel variants with portions of each pour going to charity!

This Friday will be Dan's last shift at Special Brews. After 13 amazing years here he is moving on to another opportunity. We want to thank Dan for his unwavering commitment and dedication, he will be greatly missed!
We will be throwing a send-off party Friday, so come by to show your appreciation for your favorite beertender one last time! For this special event we will have kegs of: Cantillon - Sang Bleu, Structures - Gustave, and Trap Door - Interiority on tap.

Underberg XXL Truck #2 - Electric Boogaloo!

We were the first to redeem 25,000 Underberg caps for the XXL Underberg truck. Now we are the first to do it twice! With amazing help from our great customers we will be adding another XXL Underberg Truck to the shrine and will be throwing a party to celebrate! This Friday (11/21) from 6-10pm we will have Underberg representatives on hand to help us give away custom Underberg/Special Brews hats made just for the event as well as other details to follow. 🍻
