On February 7th we had the honor to be awarded the first ever Producer of the Year award by the Vidalia Onion Committee. We are so proud of this team and the incredibly hard work they put into our farm. Nothing we do would be possible without them!

Herndon Farms is in search of an sales & office assistant.
We are seeking a detail oriented and motivated assistant, this is a full time position. This role combines administrative responsibilities while also working to support our sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Process orders, invoices, and customer requests accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate with customers via phone and email to address inquiries and provide updates
• Maintain and update customer records, sales data, and filing systems
• Answering office calls, filing office paperwork, data entry, interacting with truck drivers, coordinating shipping and receiving at both Herndon and SuperFit warehouses. Along with other office responsibilities.

🌾 Employee Spotlight: Britten Herndon

Meet Britten Herndon, someone who’s truly grown up in the fields. Britten is Jason’s son and has been part of Herndon Farm’s since day one. He preps the fields for planting as well as manages the growing crops through the seasons. He’s learned the ropes by doing, just like his dad and those before him, and he’s embraced every part of the process, start to finish. From preparing fields, planting seeds to bringing in the harvest and everything in between.

When he’s not farming, Britten’s out enjoying the great outdoors. Whether it’s the river, farming or hunting, he loves the outdoors! We’re proud to have Britten on our team, continuing a legacy of hard work and a deep love for the farm.
