Several have reached out, but we don't have any fresh Spring Straw raked just yet. As soon as they start, I will provide an update. Hopefully by the end of April or 1st of May they will get started.

Got straw? The last raking for the year is going on now. If you need some to freshen up before the holidays, let us know. Probably will not have another raking until late Spring 2026.

Thankful to still have some trees standing after Hurricane Helen. A lot of hard work and sweat to get it cleaned back up for another raking. Hope to have some ready in September. Let us know if you want to get on the schedule to get a load for your Fall flower beds or yard. Fresh from Whonic Hill.

The Hunting Heritage Banquet will be Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, at 6pm at the Toombs County Ag Center and is hosted by the Toombs County Young Farmers and FFA. The event is held to support youth and adult agricultural education and our agricultural community! Although Addisyn will not be an officer next year during her Junior year, she will still be a part of the Toombs County High School FFA program and is helping obtain Sponsorships for the 2025-2026 school year. If you are interested in being a sponsor, please let us know and we'll get a Sponsorship Form to you.

Details regarding this year’s sponsorship information is:

All tickets will be sold in advance. Tables may only be reserved by purchasing a silver or gold sponsorship.

Gold Sponsorship: $2,500 – 16 meal tickets and 2 reserved tables with table markers, 16 t-shirts, 8 sponsor only gun raffle tickets, 8 young farmer couples' memberships for 2026, a sponsor gun (different from the one in the raffle, to be announced soon) and banquet and program recognition.

Silver Sponsorship: $1,000 – 8 meal tickets and 1 reserved table with table marker, 8 t-shirts, 4 sponsor only gun raffle tickets, 4 young farmer couples' memberships for 2026, banquet and program recognition.

Bronze Sponsorship: $250 – 2 meal tickets, 2 t-shirts, 1 sponsor only gun raffle ticket, 1 young farmer couple membership for 2026, banquet and program recognition.

Individual tickets are $50 and include entry and meal, plus a Toombs County Young Farmers logo item.
