There's something special about looking out over these fields and knowing just how much history, hard work, and love is rooted in this land.
Generations of McLains have poured their hearts into farming, and what a blessing it is to carry on what those before us started. Now, as the first signs of our 2027 crop begin to grow, we're reminded that every new season is another chapter in a story that's been written for generations.
It's watching our children grow up on the farm, teaching them the value of hard work, and hoping they'll love this life just as much as we do. It's our crew who shows up day after day and takes just as much pride in this farm as we do. It's the good years, the hard years, the lessons learned, and the memories made somewhere between planting and harvest.
We don't take for granted that the Lord has allowed us to make a living doing something we love, surrounded by people we love even more.
On National Farmers Day, we're especially thankful for this life, this land, the generations who made it possible, and the hands and hearts that make McLain Farms what it is today.
What a blessing it is to be farmers. 🌱❤️
