Happy Sheep Sunday! Rosie and her lambs -Annabelle and Bonnie , prefer the Ash, Red Dog wood and brambles! Also Annabelle is losing her dark coloring while Bonnie’s seems to be keeping hers. It’ll be interesting to see what color they end up!

Little Miss’s kits are getting big! They’re 7 of them but she’s EXTREMELY protective- which isn’t always a good thing! I can’t come anywhere near them with out her freaking out. Although she’s a good mother that isn’t a trait I allow :/

Verdict is in! Pickled Asparagus is delicious! The color is a little off putting but Asparagus naturally contains anthocyanin pigments—the same plant compounds that give beets and red cabbage their color. When submerged in the acidic pickling brine, these pigments are released and turn the tips pink or purple! I’ll be making more this weekend 😋
