Words can not describe how grateful we are to Honey Pot Farmstead and Blooming with Sherryne. I still cant believe their generosity. They are such an important part of our market, you always know if Jeff is there cause he floods Market Street with the amazing smells of anything he cooks that Saturday. Sherryne is what I call the welcome committee, she is always one to introduce herself to new vendors and make them feel at home. (She is actually 100x better at this than I am). I dont know that this market would be the same without them. I just love them so much 🥰🥰

Huge congratulations to our silent auction winners, pictured here with us at the Mabank Farmers Market. Their winning bid of $1,500, combined with $400 contributed by Blooming with Sherryne from 20% percent of her sales over the last two weeks, brought our total contribution to Scott and Shelby of The Boonies Farm to $1,900.

This community showed up in a big way, and we could not be more grateful. Thank you to everyone who bid, shared, and supported this family. We wish Scott a speedy and healthy recovery, and Shelby, we love you and we’re with you.

We're auctioning off a whole hog this Saturday. 🐷

Scott and Shelby of The Boonies Farm show up for the Mabank Farmers Market every single week. Right now Scott is recovering from surgery and Shelby is carrying it alone. So we're putting a full hog up for silent auction, whole animal, all cuts, and every dollar goes straight to them.

Opening bid is $500. Bid right here in the comments or write your bid on the sheet at our booth. Bidding closes Saturday at the market.

While you're there, we've also got buy one get one free on Rib Chops and Porterhouse, and our 25% off anniversary sale on whole, half, and quarter hogs wraps up Monday, August 31.
