The barrel aged beer fans know it's of the best weeks of the year...so kick it off over at Pig Minds Brewing Co. for the annual Black Wednesday release. They've been concocting some awesome new barreled suds over the past year that shouldn't be missed. Additionally, the Stray releases to date will also be available. 🦃🦃

Super excited to share a sneak peak of Flitch, our Barrel Aged English Barleywine with ya'll tomorrow at Mikerphone Brewing . This rested for 26 months in 12 Year Van Winkle Bourbon Barrels. We get straight sticky toffee pudding, notes of maple, and subtle chocolate. This will be one of two FOBAB entries for us and we're stoked on it!

Aged 14 months in Appleton Estate Rum Barrels. Inspired by the Rum Runner cocktail, we conditioned this on loads of banana, pineapple, blackberry, cherry, coconut, orange and yuzu purées and added a touch of vanilla beans too. Available on draft in a smoothie-like full bodied version and in bottle to-go without the pulp, 500mL $16 each. 12% ABV⁣

We Bourbon Barrel Aged an Imperial Golden Ale base then added over 200 pounds of puréed pumpkin and conditioned the whole thing on pumpkin spice latte mix, vegan soft serve ice cream, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and vanilla. Call us basic, but this might be the best pumpkin beer we’ve ever had. Available ONLY on draft. 10.5% ABV

We're pretty confident ya'll have never had a beverage like this that's been called a beer. We started with an Imperial Gose base that was then transferred to dripping wet Appleton Estate Rum Barrels for a full year. We then transferred the beer onto hundreds of pounds of Pineapple, Coconut and Tangerine Puree and finished it off with Vanilla Beans and Chinese 5-Spice. Decadent, thicc, rich. ⁣⁣

🌴🥥 Tomorrow's Release Details🍍🍊

Also flowing on draft tomorrow at Pig Minds Brewing Co. is our new Rum Barrel Aged Tiki beer, Butterflies in Leisure Suits. Bottles will be coming in the next few weeks.

We're pretty confident ya'll have never had a beverage like this that's been called a beer. Saturday, August 5th

Our first three beers will be flowing on draft and in bottles to go this weekend at Pig Minds Brewing Co. 🐷🔥

ELDWOOD - Double Barrel Aged Imperial Stout first rested in Blanton's barrels for 14 months followed by an additional rest for 10 months in Four Roses barrels. Comoros and Tongan Vanilla beans were added to the barrels for the final 3 months. Absolutely massive boozey barrel and roasty char balanced by notes of marshmallow fluff and white chocolate.

CONFLUX OF TIME - Imperial Stout aged 24 months in a selected blend of Blanton's and Eagle Rare barrels. Finished on Dark Matter Coffee, Roasted Peanuts, Marquesas Islands Vanilla Beans, Ethereal Cacao Nibs, and Marshmallows. Truly a coffee and confectionary delight.

MASTER FADE - Imperial Stout blended to taste after resting for 20 months in Willet Rye and Willet Family Estate Bourbon barrels. It was then finished on Madagascar Vanilla beans and toasted and raw coconut. Explosive notes of oak vanillins, sweet caramel, creamy milk chocolate, all rounded by a restrained finish of coconut.

Excited to give a peek into a couple of our first beers! Here's what we'll be bringing:

Eldwood: Double Barrel Aged Imperial Stout initially rested in Blantons barrels for 10 months followed by an additional slumber in Four Roses barrels for 14 months where it was finished on Tongan and Comoros Vanilla beans for the final two months.

Conflux of Time: Imperial Stout rested in a combination of Blantons and Eagle Rare Bourbon barrels between 19 and 24 months, finished on Dark Matter coffee, Roasted Peanuts, Cacao Nibs, Marshmallow and Marquesas Islands Vanilla Beans.
