A special message to our fans and customers:
Earlier this past winter after careful consideration, my brother and I decided to officially step away from candy making on Mackinac Island. We have spent a huge part of our lives operating the family business and will forever have immense pride for what we accomplished at May’s Candy Shop, especially the years working with our sister, Tienne and with our dad, Marvin. The building is now in the hands of Anthony Trayser and we look forward to seeing what his future plans are for the location.
We want to express an enormous thank you to everyone who have supported our family over each and every generation. We’re very grateful to our customers and friends who have let us into their lives to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth with a variety of fudge flavors and old fashioned candies. It has been a pleasure making candy for all ages, young and old, and talking about our candy making process to people from around the world who have visited Mackinac Island. It’s been an honor serving all of you these past many years ❤️❤️❤️
