After a full week of processing runs, pickups, deliveries and some pretty epic rain… I’m SO ready to see our Farmily tomorrow. ❤️

We’ll be at:

📍 Hardin County Farmers Market
8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

📍 East End Farmers Market
9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

We’re stocked up with plenty of chicken and pork, plus select cuts of lamb and beef.

If your freezer is looking a little empty, come see us and let’s fix that.

Second trip this week.

Most people see the chicken in the freezer.

They don’t always see the 4:00 AM alarms, dark highways and hours on the road that happen first.

It’s not glamorous.

It’s just part of raising food

Today started before sunrise.

Chickens went to the processor.

Chores still had to get done.

Supper still had to get made.

Tomorrow the farm starts all over again.

Farming isn’t usually exciting.

It’s mostly showing up every day.

And somehow all those ordinary days add up to something worth building

One is for staying awake.

The other is for maintaining a pleasant personality.

Chickens are headed to the processor this morning. ☕🐓

One thing I love about farming is that every season has its own little signs.

The blackberries are starting.

The elderberries are blooming.

The hay is getting cut.

And before long, we’ll be complaining about how hot it is. 😅
