This honeysuckle vine was just a wee little thing a handful of years ago… now it’s taken over! As soon as it starts budding out every Spring, the kids start counting down the days 😍🤤
I love these little things that I know will become core memories for our darlins 🥹

This was back at the beginning of March with our first big Spring storm. It’s a long one… but if you love mud fights, you’re gonna want to watch the whole thing 😅

Someone who doesn’t amount to a hill of beans said that we’re a “fake homestead” (after spending extensive time stalking our social medias, apparently). The amount of laughs and giggles our whole family got at their expense 🤣 So good. I’d rather be this kind of “fake” than have nothing to my name & no idea where my own food even comes from 🤭😘
Now, excuse us while we go on living this beautiful life that’s apparently just been in our imaginations for the last 8 1/2 years 🥰

Our family celebrated Resurrection Day a little early, and it was a beautiful day! 💞
These little slips of paper were part of their egg hunt this morning before family communion, homemade Easter lunch, and a movie!!

Our girls are back up and running, laying eggs! 🙌🏻 🥚

To answer most questions that come up: Our girls free range on all 8 acres of our property from sun up to sun down every day. The vast majority of their diet is what they forage from our land (insects, grass, scratching through cow manure, etc) and organic kitchen scraps that we toss to them. During this season until it permanently warms up and the bugs are more prolific, they do get one scoop for the entire flock, each morning, of 18% protein laying ration.
Our eggs are UNwashed and not refrigerated.

$4 per dozen. Please return our cartons. Text (405) 598-7477 for availability, holds, and to schedule pick up.
Pick up at the farm in Macomb any day, or in Shawnee M-F.
