Come be big time with WIU

The livestock industry has a special way of bringing people together, creating friendships that last far beyond the show ring or judging contest. Today, we’re honored to play a small part in remembering a good one through the Adam Massman Memorial Donation Sale.

The Western Illinois University Livestock Judging Team has donated a round of golf at the Harry Mussatto Golf Course with the WIU judging team member or coach of the buyer’s choosing. ⛳️

We hope our contribution can help, even in a small way, continue the impact Adam made on the people and industry around him.

There are some incredible donations in today’s sale, all given for a reason much greater than any one of us. We encourage everyone to take a look, bid if you can, and help honor Adam’s memory.

WIU has focused on building a quality Simmental cow herd. Our students are the foundation of this success. Jake Ford is a 2026 graduate of the School of Agriculture and played in active role in the success of the WIU Beef program over the last two years. These are the kinds of experiences and community that WIU provides that you won’t find everywhere.

A huge thank-you goes to the entire Engnell team for the countless hours of hard work and dedication that helped make this event possible. We are additionally grateful to our show chairs, Maggie Goodson and Ally Loosen.

We also want to recognize the entire WIU Hoof N Horn crew, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to help make the day such an awesome and successful experience in the ring.
