The dust has settled on the sheep show for Missouri State Fair 2026. We had a good show; do we wish we could actually have a Babydoll class only instead of having to be in AOW with big sheep? Absolutely! Our dolls don’t always blaze their way to the top by passing breeds twice their size;But we feel they do give the other breeds a run for their money! 🥰
In the FFA Junior show we started with New Horizon’s Farm home raised AOW Reserve Champion Ram “Cupid” (Top Town Downs Kitt x Joyer Lane “Bantha”) AOW Reserve Champion Ewe “ Jade” (Elmdale Farms “Sequin” x Joyer Lane “Bantha”)
I have never participated in Adult Leadline; decided it was great year to start and in the same class with one of my best friends Meg! New Horizon’s Farm “Jade” and I placed 2nd. Meg and “ Charlotte” placed 1st; so excited for us both !!! We didn’t coordinate our outfits, but we clearly think a lot a like!
Our Open show may not of brought Banners but still made our little Dolls presence known! AOW Junior Ram lamb, 2nd place New Horizon’s Farm “ Cupid” (Top Town Downs “Kitt” x Joyer Lane “ Bantha”) 3rd place Lucky B Farm “Playboys Gone Platinum” AOW Yearling Ewes, 5th place New Horizon’s Farm “Poppie” (Rocking M “Pearl” x Joyer Lane “ Bantha”) 6th place New Horizon’s Farm “Dakota” (Rocking M “ Dixie” x Joyer Lane “Bantha”). AOW Spring Ewe Lambs; 2nd place New Horizon’s Farm “ Jade” (Elmdale Farm “Sequin” x Joyer Lane “ Bantha”), 5 th place New Horizon’s Farm “Valentine” ( Rocking M “Pearl” x Joyer Lane “Bantha”) 9 th place New Horizon’s Farm “Jade” (Joyer Lane “Mystique” x Joyer Lane “ Bantha”).
I’ve included pictures of Owen’s Leadline class with Charlotte, his Dorset Open classes, the Shropshire show that included Our daughters Taylor (Kemp Show Lambs) Addison & Emma! Oh and our Shropshire photo bomber Shannon! 😂🥰 None of this is possible without family, bonus family, love & support for each other! No matter if we are competing in the same classes, same breeds, just helping each other, enjoying meals or just sitting around laughing and talking! We were so excited to have our Granddaughter Kora Ky-Lee help show for the first time in the Open Shropshire classes. 💓💜🥰

We would like to introduce our newest addition to our breeding program “Playboys Gone Platinum “! Thank you Lucky B Farm for allowing us to make Missouri his home. We are excited to see the beautiful additions he adds to our flock. We will continue to offer outstanding lambs sired by Joyer Lane Bantha as well.
