I avoided the heavy breaded dressing in favor of a white quinoa salad. The salad, accompanied with traditional cranberry sauce paired well with the Thanksgiving turkey.
Ingredients:
Organic White Quinoa-
1 cup in 2 cups of water.
Organic Garbanzo Beans-
1 can.
Organic Roasted Sesame Dressing-
1 tablespoon. (More for more flavor)
Dried Sage-
1 teaspoon. (More for preference)
Onion Powder-
1/2 teaspoon.
Prepare quinoa until the seads open, steaming slowly. Add garbanzo beans after rinsing. Add remaining ingredients.
Complete Menu:
Bag roasted turkey.
Fresh green beans w/ Vidalia Onions.
Quinoa Salad.
Jelled cranberry sauces.
Dessert:
Vanilla pudding with whipped cream topped with praline pecans.
