Lunch at Brasserie Circa shouldn't be an option in my opinion, it should be mandatory for both visitors and residents alike.

This place is just so special and the service is extraordinary. But, the food! We ordered sushi rolls and a split Cobb Salad with Salmon. They even split it up on 2 plates for us!

Kudos Brasserie... Kudos. ❤️

Billy’s Let’s Eat Review of Giganti on Main on 125 W. Clinton Street in Gray on June 10th, 2026

So, I am a huge fan of the Macon Restaurant scene, but, I live between Macon and Gray and every once in a while, I feel like we have to show some love to our neighbors to the northeast - Gray!

Gray is just a quick 20 minute drive from downtown Macon. Giganti On Main is a brand new homestyle Italian restaurant, only having been open for a few months. It’s been on my radar because they boast that they make their own pasta and sauces in-house. I’m not one to call anyone a fibber - but - I like to check out those claims on my own. All too often, we hear these sensationalist claims that something is “homemade” only to find out it comes from Sysco.

A quick note about “homemade Italian food” - you will NEVER, EVER get two Italians that will cook the exact same way and it tastes the same. Whenever I hear someone say “Oh, I love Italian food” - this is so subjective. Every city, town and village of Italy, every single family, they ALL have a different recipe and style of cooking.

Fun Fact! My retirement dream is to write a book on the WORST food in Italy. Think about that. Think about the research that I’d have to do! LOL The food in Italy is some of the most passionate foodie experiences I’ve ever had in my travels. Italians and Food go hand in hand and that passion is handed down generation to generation. I feel Giganti On Main’s ancestors are speaking to them in their kitchen.

Giganti On Main did NOT disappoint. From the first bite, it’s clearly evident - this is not from a box - this is the real deal. It tastes homemade. Now, I have been to Italy (many many times in fact) and I can assure you - if you want a taste of Italy right here in Middle Georgia, put your passports away and drive up to Gray.

This is a very laidback and casual atmosphere. But, don’t worry about breaking the bank because as far as I am concerned, this place is one of the CHEAPEST restaurants I’ve eaten in since moving here a little over a year ago.

So, let's eat!
What We Ordered:

Bruschetta = $8
Toast (and I think it was fried) with a delightful tomato and basil topping. It’s light and refreshing. Personally, I think it needed more Basil - but this is the age old argument in Italian kitchens since the dawn of time.

Fettuccini Alfredo Pesto = $13
Meatballs Add On = $6
This is what I ordered because I love Pesto, Alfredo and of course, Garlic. The meatballs where served in a Pomodoro Sauce - which is nothing more than a fresh tomato based sauce and I was able to make a “pink” sauce. The meatballs were quite good. Proof that they were homemade, out of the 4 I got, not a single one was the same size. I liked that. It proved that they weren’t frozen.

Fettuccini Mushroom Cream = $13
Blackened Chicken Add On = $5
My best friend visiting from Argentina ordered this and she’s a bit of an Italian food snob. She told me right at her first bite - this was CLEARLY homemade and not from a box. She appreciated the fact that when they say homemade, they meant it. One note we both noticed, we wished the food was a bit warmer. Both of our dishes came out lukewarm.

Summing It Up: This is a perfect 4th date night or dinner out with family or friends. You’ll walk away feeling full, valued as a customer, service is excellent and very homey. If I’m being honest, I can’t wait to go back and try their traditional spaghetti and meatballs with pomodoro sauce. You can’t eat spaghetti on a date and be classy - but slurping up freshly made pasta in a rich red tomato sauce is something you can do when you’re completely comfortable with loved ones that you’re NOT trying to impress! LOL

Until next time… Let’s Eat!
