The Mug Club got first crack at it last night. 🍉🍺

Watermelon Responsibly has officially made it through testing, and tomorrow we turn it loose on everyone else.

It's our Responsibly base beer with watermelon added — not a bright pink fruit bomb. It still looks like beer, drinks like beer, with watermelon showing up for the ride.

Public release is Friday.

But that's tomorrow.

Tonight is Thursday.

The workweek is almost in the rearview mirror. The chores aren't going anywhere. Give yourself a couple hours that don't need to accomplish anything.

Grab a seat. Order something you like. Stay awhile.

The answer is…

Botanically, watermelon is a special type of berry called a pepo — along with things like cucumbers, pumpkins and squash.

The three-headed beast is back. 🐺🐺🐺

Cerberus has officially returned to the taps.

Our Hazy IPA is back, the beer is cold, and Saturday seems like a pretty good excuse to get out of the house and spend a few hours with us.

And after watching you guys nearly wipe out Lab Subject 004 in just a few days, apparently we need to get back in the lab. 🧪

Friday night doesn't need a plan.

Grab a couple friends, claim a table, order a beer, and let the week disappear into the background for a while.

No agenda. No to-do list. Just good beer, good people, and a place where you're welcome to hang out as long as you'd like.

Oktoberfest started as a wedding celebration. 👰🤵🍺

In 1810, Crown Prince Ludwig married Princess Therese, and Munich celebrated with festivities capped off by a horse race.

They had such a good time that they did it again the next year — and eventually it became an annual tradition.

⭐ BONUS ANSWER: The following year's celebration included an agricultural show, helping turn the one-time party into something worth repeating.

⭐⭐ DOUBLE BONUS: Oktoberfest eventually moved earlier to take advantage of warmer weather and longer days — which is why most of "Oktoberfest" now happens in September.

So basically, somebody threw a wedding party more than 200 years ago and we're still finding excuses to drink Märzen because of it.

We can respect that kind of commitment. 😂
