Ginger is actually the first horse I learned to ride on as an adult. She was one spicy girl in her youth . It's nice to be able to offer her the comfort of a massage and body work session in her golden years β¨οΈ π π₯°
Thanks to for allowing me to work on her girl. She sure enjoyed it today.
Massage is an awesome and powerful modality for keeping muscles soft and supple . The benefits of equine massage are not only for senior horses but performances horses can benefit greatly as well.

We goat some nice trims in today . It was goats goats goats ! Some of the goats were a little long as a result of all the rain and soft ground . When that happens they can get a little bruised in the toe and stand wonky, like the one I took pictures of, but they usually end up cleaning up just fine ! π this girl was standing way better afterwards. I'll work on getting her standing more upright by her next trim .π have some goats that got behind during the winter and now you need help catching up ? Give us a call or a message and we'll be happy to get them on the schedule! No heard is too big for us ! π or π welcome !

Fueled by our love of horses and ranch life, my husband and I have decided to dive into the world of business ownership and have partnered our unique talents together in the hopes of creating a great experience for not only ourselves, but for our customers as well.
Surprisingly, neither one of us grew up in βranchβ homes, but have always had a strong love of animals, caring, and protecting them, once we finally got the chance to own our own horses and live in the country that love and care just exploded, and has been going strong for over 7 years now.
Rusty graduated from Fresno State in 2016 with a bachelors degree in biology and went on to become a large animal zoo keeper in Monterey, Ca, working with Tigers, elephants , and other exotic animals, having had previous experience volunteering at the , Fresno Chafee Zoo.Choosing to be closer to home, and closer to his horses he pursued studies at the Oregon School of Natural Hoof Care, learning closely with our own trimmer, Dave Fitton, who is also one of the head instructors at the school, and is who helped to plant the seed to start down this path. Rusty finished his schooling and is now working diligently to expand his clientele and educate people on equine hoof care.
I ( Tomasita Velasco-Barnes) have been a lover of all animals since very young, I regularly rescued sick an injured animals, and rehabbed them as a child and teen. When my family moved to Madera from the coast, I finally had the chance to pursue a life long dream, to volunteer in horse rescue and rehab. I dove at the chance to help desensitize and work with horses at a local horse rescue, SilverWings Horse rescue. When I wasn't working my full time position as a dog groomer, I was there. It was at this very rescue that I met who would be my first horse, Neptune. We have grown and learned from each other ever since. Neptune came from a severe neglect/abuse case, He needed special care , trims, and chiropractic to get his body back to where it needed to be. I have always been fascinated and enjoyed watching a horse heal, seeing them become better and healthier. I decided to pursue a career in equine sports massage, and started home studies in preparation for attending the first of several learning seminars, at Equinology Inc, Bodega Bay, Ca . After a grueling 6 month externship I am happy to announce I am currently certified as an EEBW l in equine massage.
We have also recently decided to add trimming goat and sheep hooves to our services! Our goal is to create a business that conveniently offers many equine and ranch services under one roof. We hope that each client we work with can see the care and attention we strive to achieve in every appointment .
We hope you will join us on this exciting journey! please feel free to message or call us with any questions you might have!
