While we needed a bull or two for some fresh blood in our herd we were content to wait and find just the right animal. Then we came across a bull, lot 5 in the Bright Lights sale, and he reminded us a lot of the one we had brought to Congress.

Great spine, moves with ease, awesome rib shape and a complete outcross to our operation. Redwood is an incredibly versatile bull and will be used in a number of scenarios here in our operation.

Our Bright Lights consignment has come around quite a bit since his first picture so we decided to snap a new one while we were videoing him.

This bull checks a lot of boxes of what I’ve tried to build out of our registered herd, he registers as 1/2 Maine and a high % Chi with a bulletproof lineage.

We think an awful lot of him but come check him out in person during Cattlemen’s Congress
