When a frost is coming and you have a ton of flowers in full bloom in the garden.

That only means one thing... Time to cut them and bring them inside!! I will admit, im not ready for frost. I'm not ready to say goodbye to my beautiful flowers until spring. And im certainly not ready for the cold weather to arrive and stay. 😭😭😭😭

The ONLY good thing about the the cold months... I can get a lot more reading in, either via physical book or audio. I just have less going on so it's easier to enjoy one of my very favorite hobbies.

Other than that.. Boo hiss booo bring back the warm seasons and the colors! 🤣😂🤣

End of the day, getting the kitchen put away before heading off to bed. And enjoying what is likely one of the last bouquets from my garden for the season.

Looks like maybe frost on Thursday morning, so ill be running around snagging everything I can from the gardens on Wednesday.

Also, peep the little Halloween decorations. The kids made a bunch with my mom this weekend while I was harvesting grapes at her place, and I had to make a set too. 🤭

Annnnndddd all the baby spider plants are starts from my daughter's. She has spider plant babies EVERYWHERE in the house right now. 🤣😂

The soybeans are gone! Which means, the Asian beetle apocalypse has arrived. They stink, they bite, and there is an infinite amount of them!

We've taken to spraying the outside of the house to try and limit how many end up inside... not a ton get into here but, every one is annoying so the more we can avoid, the better. 😅

When we lived in the trailer house, oh my gosh it was awful and some days I could have sworn more were inside than outside! Id Vaccum so many up it would smell like them for months any time I ran it. 😷

Like I said though... not anywhere like that now! We maybe end up with a handful or two inside... which is annoying enough, but thats just from our coming and going.

But, I do enjoy watching the horses when they are working the fields. It is entertaining how completely unbothered they are. For the most part, they are pretty good with equipment, and only on occasion do they get goofy about it.

We had another busy, productive weekend here and today will be no different.

There will be days for rest ahead, but not anytime soon.

Ok Pepper experts. Explain please!

What, how, why?!?

HOW did it get filled with water?!? I looked all over, no holes. Other peppers in the hoop house are normal.

It seemed fine once I cut into it and yes we ate it with dinner but I still want to know how this happened. 😅
