***EASY TO GROW NATIVE WIDOW’S TEARS***

This is one of the most forgiving, cheerful natives you can grow. It shoots up in spring with grassy leaves and tall stems topped with clusters of flowers that bloom for weeks. Each flower lasts just a day, but new ones open daily, giving the plant a long flowering season from spring into early summer. This variety has light blue flowers and grows about 12 in tall.

Easy to grow in sun or shade, clay or loam, dry or moist soils—it is the definition of beginner-friendly. Plant it where you’ll see it often, because the flowers are little daily surprises!

It goes by many names- spiderwort, widow’s tears, Tradescantia, etc.

Get year-round interest and green leaves in winter with this remarkable plant! It produces calla-like white blooms in spring followed by bright red berries in summer and fall. New leaves emerge and stay green during winter. They work great to plant around hosta, since arum grows leaves as the hosta goes dormant. They do best in partial to full shade.

These are the true native prickly pear. Gorgeous yellow blooms, low growing, deer resistant and can survive full Mississippi sun with very little water.

Paddles easily root in soil. The original stock came from prairie moon nursery.
