Just one block off Willy St., Working Draft works to bring families, friends, and neighbors together in an airy and welcoming setting to enjoy locally-made craft beer our taproom Monday-Thursday 3-9pm, Friday-Saturday 12-10pm, Sunday 12-6pm. Our beers are brewed on either our 7-barrel brewhouse or our “pilot” 1-barrel system, striking a balance between a top-notch production brewery and our homebr

ewing roots. Our tap lineup features beers loaded with hop flavor and aroma, beers that are crisp and satisfying, limited barrel-aged specialties, and guest beers from our craft beer friends throughout Wisconsin. Our taproom is kid-friendly, though unfortunately we can't host our furry companions at this time. Czech Fest countdown - four days away! Today we’re highlighting some of the Czech beer pours that will be available all weekend long! Czech beer pours are distinct methods of serving beer that highlight the role of foam in enhancing flavor and freshness. The pouring technique is considered an art form in Czech culture, with each style offering a unique drinking experience:

Hladinka - The standard pour, commonly served in bars. One-third foam, two-thirds beer. Balanced sweetness and bitterness, ideal for social drinking.

Šnyt - A traditional pour that is gaining popularity again. Half foam, half beer. Polished bitter flavor, satisfying without being too filling.

Mlíko - A unique pour meant to be consumed quickly. Almost entirely foam. Sweet and creamy, designed for refreshing enjoyment.

We’re just ONE WEEK AWAY from Czech Fest 2026! Learn about Czech drinking culture and experience different styles of Czech beers and Czech pours. We will feature:

16 Czech side pull faucets on that weekend

8 Working Draft Czech beers

2 special taps from the Czech Republic (Pragas Dark and Pilsner Urquell)

Czech guest taps from breweries around the state

Choose from three different Czech-Style Pours

Hladinka - Creamy head, 25% foam

Šnyt - Half beer / half foam

Mlíko - Wet, almost entirely foam

Authentic Czech food made for us by Stalzy’s deli

Svíčková na smetaně - Tender beef swimming in a delicious root vegetable / cream sauce

Vepřový Řízek - A Czech take on pork schnitzel

Bramborový salát - A classic Czech-style potato salad

Knedliky - Czech-style pierogies

A special Saazerac cocktail, where we infuse the absinthe with Czech Saaz hops 🍸

During portions of the weekend, you’ll be able to get a Czech-Style Black and Tan, which has a foundation of Tracksuit Riot Czech-Style Dark Lager with a foam cap of Lil’ Šnyt Czech-Style Pale Lager (only when we’re not crazy busy, since it takes at least three minutes to do this pour right)

Witte Bloem is tasting fantastic on the patio! This classic Belgian-Style Witbier is brewed with pilsner malt, flaked oats and large percentage of flaked wheat. Lightly hopped and spiced with coriander, orange peel, and chamomile before being fermented with a classic Belgian Wit yeast. The result is a soft, bright and fruity ale with notes of citrus, honey, and pepper. Have you tried it yet?

⚠️ New Summer Sunday Hours ⚠️

Starting today, we'll be open Sundays 12pm to 9pm through the end of the summer. That means you get two extra hours to enjoy a To Those Who Wait, Pulp Culture, or whatever fits your fancy.

And on a day like today, getting two extra hours of patio time may be the best news you get all week 😎

Can't make it in today? Join us next Sunday at 2pm for our Monthly Meat Raffle. We'll be raffling off meat from Wells Farm. $2 per paddle, six rounds, lots of great prizes. And you can stick around until 9pm if you want 😊
