Wedding #2!

Jacquie wanted a colorful vibe for her wedding! She wanted it natural and wildflower looking, but didn’t have any specific flowers in mind. We truly enjoyed using seasonal blooms like delphinium, feverfew, and liatris. I wish I took pictures of the corsages and boutonnières because they were awesome too.

What a dreamy aisle huh, can you picture yourself walking down that?

Wedding #1 this weekend!

Emily! Getting married in Mystic, Emily had a clear Coastal New England request for her flowers with the newly opened Delmar as the venue. The Mystic River offered a wonderful breeze and backdrop for her ceremony (more photos to come).

Whites and greens with some subtle pops of blue was her vision. We incorporated many of her favorite flower choices including Queen Anne’s Lace…..how perfect am I right?!

That green rose is called Lemonade. Isn’t it cool?

This week at Simple Life Farm

• Teacher Appreciation flowers! Adorable colored jars filled with tulips grown right at our farm and a cute hang tag that says “thanks for helping us grow”. Message to reserve one for your child’s favorite teacher!

• Prom! Because prom is always on Mother’s Day weekend

• Mother’s Day! It’s in literally one week. Not on your mind yet, I know. The weather is preventing our brains from working properly I swear. Last day to pre order is TODAY. Don’t miss out on securing flowers.

I will have the stand open Saturday and Sunday next weekend. Mixed wrapped bouquets and some jar offerings.
