Maple Syrup and Maple Syrup infused flavors

The trees are starting to say enoughs enough, this means it’s almost time to start selling what I’ve been making, give me about a week and a half before I start selling, it goes fast so be ready. I will have limited amounts of infused flavors this year. Blueberry, Cinnamon, Coffee, Habanero. Sorry no advance orders.

The Reverse Osmosis is putting out 8% sugar concentrate sap today. The significance of this is that I only need to boil 10.69 gallons of sap to to make 1 gallon of syrup instead of 43.4 gallons it would take without this RO equipment.

I debated advertising a 5th place award but seeing my syrup on display at the Maple Festival today made me feel proud. This is the first time entering my syrup into a contest and only my second year making maple syrup (self-taught).

For those of you that purchased syrup from me, I can not thank you enough! Making maple syrup is not a profitable hobby even though it’s sold at a premium price. (Some of you know how much money and time goes into it)

Thank you Katie Yeary for putting up with my absence and being a “single mom” 4 weeks a year. And thank you to my family, friends and my poor co-workers who have to put up with me talking about making maple syrup 365 days a year. 😁)

Just knowing that there are people willing to buy something that I put my heart into making makes it all worth it.
