Not bad for a doe that arrived late Monday afternoon on the farm, at least a full 3 weeks later than anticipated, didn't really have time to acclimate here before she was loaded back up to show for the weekend.

Kelly also purchased her dam, Lexa, who is a finished CH, that didn't fair as well transporting and coming to the farm. Originally signed up for 6 rings of CC, Lexa showed in one but was scratched from the remaining 5.

We keep a few token Lamanchas 'round these parts. Last year we picked up a lovely doe, Tikvah, from the Celtic Knot herd- she was exactly what Jessica described and I knew I wanted another from the rolling Ohio backroads of Carrollton County. Jessica and her family were some of the nicest, most down to earth people I met on transports last year.

Boogie is a CH Old Mountain Farm Chevalier and Old Mountain Farm French Toast daughter 😘 if I was not working to keep my herd incredibly small this year, she would absolutely be staying!

Boogie freshened as a 3F with B/D twins a couple weeks ago with zero milk. Highly suspecting CVV. I'm retaining her daughter but she could go with her buckling who is on a bottle very well, see prior post for pics and pedigree on him.
