Let me tell you—I REALLY debated whether we’d be open or closed today. As a small business, the pressure to be open ALL. THE. TIME is so real. My store even just got a 1-star review because we close at 7 pm on weekdays instead of being open until 10 pm like Culver’s or Dairy Queen—from someone who’s never even tried our product.

But here’s why I closed today: my team needs and deserves a break, and so do I. Just one day. One day to not have texts coming in, or problems to solve.

So I had myself a day: I had a frozen smoothie, I read my book in the sun, am watching baseball, watched the last show of the Taylor swift eras tour on Disney plus, hung some laundry on the line, & just relaxed✨

And I’ll be even more ready for a busy week serving you all smoothies because of it💛🍓

whether you socialized or laid low today, I hope you all recharged in a way you needed this Labor Day🇺🇸
