Good morning everyone! We just made our annual starter plant delivery to the fifth Street community garden here in Madison! We always make sure we start plenty of extras for all of our local gardeners as we love to encourage gardening!

Hi everyone! We’ve been a bit behind this season due to our 4 week roadtrip but we’ve managed to get things in order now that we’re back! All our transplants are looking super healthy and we’ve got seeds in the ground with sprouts incoming!!! We love, love, love this time of year and can’t wait for the bountiful harvest!!

Hey hey everyone! Just a little update to let you all know that Sol Garden has been amazing this season! Our okra are doing fantastic! Our second succession of bush beans has been abliterated by a rabbit! Dayum they’re fast! We still have one squash “tree” left and one top portion of a zucchini tree that broke off in the last storm that we planted and have managed to save, it seems! Peppers and cucumbers are still doing well, though the cucumbers, have slowed down a little bit! Our fall garden is started with plenty of seeds for kohlrabi, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, collards, cabbage, lettuce, and carrots! Oh yeah, and radishes, and hakurei turnips! Cain’t wait!

Hey hey everyone! Photo dump! If you have not been to the trial gardens located in Athens on the UGA campus, I highly recommend you go see it! This is a fraction of what they have over there!

Dayuuuuuum! We’re so disheartened! We’ve worked so hard on this second corn succession! It’s literally the best corn we’ve EVER GROWN in 5 years of growing corn! And while it was happening we were enjoying that cool, STIFF wind on our private porch and in the back of my mind I was thinking about that corn……at least we’ll still get some ears in September! Just not enough to last till next spring!
