Our Story
Remington-Lott Farms is a family owned business located in Canton, Mississippi. We take pride in implementing a bunker-fed program where pasture raised cattle have the best of both worlds. Our beef are grass fed and grain finished, with no hormones. That means they graze and eat hay grown locally, being finished on grain while still living on pasture. Greg Lott, a co-owner and operator was born and raised in Madison County; his father was a large animal vet in Canton, MS and his grandfather was a dairy farmer. Therefore, Greg is a third generation farmer from this area. Greg graduated from Mississippi State with a B.S. in General Agriculture and was on the MSU Livestock Judging Team. In 1981, Greg married Doris Ann and they had two children. Both of his children participated in 4-H and his son Will had two calves in the Dixie National Sale of Champions. Greg continues to grow, breed, and improve the herd in order to satisfy the consumers demand for healthier, more flavorful local grown beef. Our goal is to provide the best beef "from conception to consumption".
