Farm First Dairy Cooperative The membership vote to merge the three cooperatives affirmed the members’ goals for industry success through collaboration.

FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative strives to provide all members a unified voice in dairy policy, strong marketing opportunities and valued member services through trusted first-hand industry involvement and leadership. Combining the strength of three longstanding dairy cooperatives, FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative represents the broadest and deepest level of experience in milk marketing history, combining a total of 219 years of rich heritage. Members of Milwaukee Cooperative Milk Producers, Manitowoc Milk Producers Cooperative and Family Dairies USA Cooperative successfully voted to merge the three cooperatives in December 2012. Collectively, the strength of the three organizations became one unified and powerful voice in FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative.

People will ask, "What makes FarmFirst, boots on the Ground?"

Well its as team that is forward facing, accessible and constantly thriving to improve themselves so that they can be the go to for their dairy farmers.

The FFDC team was at World Dairy Expo last week, and headed straight to Onalaska this week to get educated, informed, and to collaborate with others in the industry.

There was topics on FMMO, sustainability, mastitis, a whole DATCP update as well.

A huge thank you to all the sponsors that supported the Wisconsin Dairy Field Representatives Conference.

Farm First Dairy Cooperative puts members first. Through their boots on the grounds effort, they make sure their staff is available when you need them. They also provide disaster payments in you are unable to ship milk due to weather or unforseen circumstances. Want to learn more? Take a listen.

This weekend was the 112th celebration of Cheese Days in Monroe Wis. It's celebrated every even number year, and was only missed in 2020.

Their town of 10000 goes to 80 to 90 thousand overnight.

Its everything cheese...tasting, making and buying.

It's Swiss heritage...

A milking contest...

Polka and Alphorns and yodeling.

And the parade. Over 2 miles and 100 plus units.

The FarmFirst Dairy Coop had a milking team, which took 1st place, consisting of Carrie Ritschard, D6 Director, and FFDC members Scott Young, Liz Steiner, Jackie Boss and Natalie Steiner and they called themselves Udder Chaos.

They started on the goat and finished on the Holstein with 2 Brown Swiss in the middle and they prevailed the undisputed champions, earning a shirt, bragging rights for 2 years, and fried cheese curd tickets. (Cue "We are the champions in the background" )

They're gonna be defending that title in 2028!!

On Sunday they, along with their families participated in the parade with a Farmers Feed the World Farm to Fork themed parade.

They handed out 4000 pieces of Belgioso Cheese snack cheeses and a whooooole lot of stickers and pins from Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin

It was a gloomy day, but their spirits and enthusiasm was high showing their resilience and pride in the dairy industry.

Its her favorite cow, Raven.

The picture is a whole vibe in our opinion.

Farmers have favorite animals.
They have an eye for capturing beauty.
And there is a sense of hope and calm in this picture
