Auntie and Uncle are in the big leagues now!

Show some love MFS fans. So proud to see another family business get proper recognition from the Madison community.

You will find them at most events during the summer time - Central Park Sessions, Orton Park Fest, Taste of Madison are just a few upcoming events.

They also operate a food cart on library mall during the weekdays and take orders via EatStreet.

A few days late, but we are excited to see year 4 in the biz!

There are major updates to share about what we've accomplished since 2019, but we can't quite do it all in one post. Just know, we are in the process of cleaning up our website, social media accounts and monthly newsletter. For now, here are a few accomplishments:

1. Founder and general manager, Donale Richards is now 100% self-employed! This is the first year MFS has a full-time employee (and the first year he gets paid back from start-up costs, sigh)

2. We now offer business consulting services for start-up food entrepreneurs. We specialize in catering, food cart and small farm operations. This will be our main service in 2023 so stay tuned, more details to come!

3. It saddens us to say that our food services (food vending + catering) will be suspended until 2024. In the meantime, we are exploring sourcing options with local farms, testing new recipes, obtaining equipment for larger events and supporting the growth of 2 other family businesses The Smiling Coast Cuisine & M & J Jamaican Kitch'n.

4. While it's not sexy, we have cleaned up our financial statements! Being able to produce Profit/Loss, Balance Sheets and 3-year projections allows us to be strategic when planning for the long-term goal of a farm-to-table restaurant. Financing equipment, staffing and facilities are no joke, but slow n steady, we'll get there!

5. Lastly, if you haven't yet, give us a like/follow on Facebook & Instagram AND visit our website to hit that subscription button on the home page! We are making strides to look more professional, big thanks to Shea Strategy LLC
