March 8, 2026: I made it a point to check out the old country market in Coombs, BC. Although I was bummed that there were no the day I visited, I did not expect the market and cafe to be such a cool place to visit! I honestly could have spent a few hours in this store checking out all the baked goods, deli items, gourmet foods, local products, home goods, and fun and unique gifts that were inside! I’m a little bit of a market/grocery store nerd and love these kind of places and think this is a “must-visit” if you visit Vancouver Island!britishcolumbia

March 7, 2026: Took a quick ride from Vesuvius (the NW side of Salt Spring Island) to Crofton (Vancouver Island) before camping for the night and then heading up the east coast of Vancouver Island the next day! The evening/sunset ferry ride was pretty cool!

March 7, 2026: and I explored the town of Ganges on Salt Spring Island and I got an awesome plate of food from followed by a little thrift store shopping and a visit to the local store that’s inside a cool old building followed by some wings and the game at (a pub that my cousin who’s an arborist in Victoria would visit on work trips to Salt Spring Island back in the day and told me to check out)!

March, 2026: and I spent a few days in one of my favorite cities: Victoria, British Columbia! I had the chance to meet up with my cousin Bradley who has lived in Victoria for quite some time now and we had an awesome breakfast at and when I first arrived into town I picked up some delicious fish & chips from where I randomly met a cool guy who happened to be childhood friends with and we chatted about hockey and baseball! Holland and I also came across some kind of film shoot at Willows Beach and later that night I had some good wings and a local beer at while watching the Lightning game on TV: On my last night in Victoria I was able to pick up a 6 pack of Blue Buck beer from to bring back to Jerry here at the ranch in Colorado! Did I mention I love Victoria?!
