This adventure started as a love for being outside and enjoying fresh grown veggies. Each summer, starting in 2011, we have added new growing space and continue to experiment with crops to deliver the most we can out of our little space . The owners/operators of Wood Acre Farm, Madison, MS are Chuck and Misty Wood, who married in 2010. Full time jobs are a high school and college teacher and occu
pational therapist. Misty grew up with a large garden and multiple grandparents who were pro-gardeners and farmers. Even in college, Charles and Misty carried potted roses and peonies all over the state of Mississippi as we completed our degrees. Wood Acre Farm began setting up a table at the Downtown Madison Farmers' Market in 2013 as a way for us to become more involved in our community, an excuse to get outside, and a way for Charles to stay busy during the summer break. It has evolved into so much more. We have grown attached to our weekly customers and always look forward to catching up. We hope that you will join us as we continue to GROW!
