If you noticed that our page has been quiet, it’s because we’ve been working extra hard to prep for our Spring and Summer events! 🌞🌻

Unfortunately, we’ll have to miss the Trout Festival and Blooms, Bluegrass, & BBQ this weekend due to some unforeseen circumstances our family has encountered. We were looking forward to seeing you all there, but sometimes life has different plans!

All for the best, we’ll double down and work extra hard to make sure all your favorite creations are batched and available for online sales and the remaining events of the season 🍯

More garlic, please! 🧄

Our garlic honey was meant to be a seasonal option through last fall. After trialing a batch at an event, we quickly realized two things:

• One batch was NOT enough
• This infusion has a permanent place in our flavor roster

Garlic is the all-time crowd favorite due to its intensely pungent, nutty, buttery tang that so sharply contrasts the sweetness of the raw honey. It’s the most versatile, and we hear of new ways our customers have found to use it in the kitchen almost daily.

But, did you know that garlic - as well as raw honey - has strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties? In our house, we use garlic and honey to assist in the remedy of many bronchial ailments from common colds to chronic asthma.

We’re not doctors, and we don’t pretend to be. As such, here’s a little disclaimer to keep Facebook happy:

A little honey infusion ASMR to start your morning 🍯

This was our first jar of Tulsi Basil (chai) honey from a few months back, and it was MESSY. I just sort of dropped a few scoops of loose leaf into the jar and hoped it would work out…which it didn’t.

To strain it back out I used cheese cloth tied around a large funnel and poured it into a new jar, took about 1.5 hours total. Then I tied up the cheesecloth with the Tulsi Basil inside and plopped it back in the jar.

Somewhere in the middle of all that we realized we could just fill tea bags with the loose leaf and add one to each 4 oz jar, DUH! Now every jar sold comes with a honey-soaked chai tea bag that can be brewed for a delicious finish once the honey is gone 🫖

Welcome to the OFFICIAL Honey Badger Craft Honey page! 🍯🦡

Let's start with introductions. My name is Kaitlyn and my husband, Tony, and I are the creators and owners of HBCH. This business, these unique flavors, and the community connections we have made have been a labor of love for us this year. We're new additions to the Monroe County area and are proud to call East Tennessee our home!

This is where we will run our two small businesses (Honey Badger Craft Honey and Honest A/C LLC.). This bountiful land is where we will cultivate our homestead/farm. This beautiful community is where we will raise our family.
