It might be cool today but the forge is hot. my books have some limited space for some appointments so contact me today and get your horses trimmed or shod, for your shoeing needs I offer cold and hot shoeing along with corrective if needed.

Might have been in the 20s this morning, but still managed to put some time in and turn some hand made shoes and this was the outcome. Gotta work on getting more defined in the heels and clean it up a bit but it is a start.

Saturday morning, and we got the new scott anvil out putting time in the forge and getting better. Y'all my goal is to stride forward everyday to get better and "forge" myself into being the best I can be for the horses. I hope everybody has a great day.

actually got to grab a pic of a after burn picture. this mare is getting what she needs to help with forward motion a couple omnidirectional shoes to help with bilateral ringbone and a 2° wedge pad to lift her up in her heels to get some angle to her hooves and relieve any added pressure to her tendons and ligaments.

As we count down the final hours on this last day of 2025. I wanna take the time to say Thank you to everybody for allowing me to come out and care for their horses hooves. 2026 I am working on adding a couple things to my trailer to be more efficient and also working even harder to be able to serve everyone.

Got a bit "hot" today. Did some hot shoeing and stepped out and attempted to modify my first omnidirectional shoe for this mare with ringbone. Added a 2° wedge pad to lift the hoof up to a more natural angle and away from the negative palmer state she was in. To watch her go from taking a step and stopping for a minute to actually moving better was a huge win!
