That Spicy Witch was established by the green witch Sadie D. Glover. She began gardening in 2020 which sparked a passion for growing herbs and veggies.

From her garden she creates hot sauces, pesto, dried herbs, dried herbal teas, and pickled goods. If contacting by phone please leave a voicemail, or text!

Indoor seeds started this past week!
Cayenne, Tabasco, Bell & Poblano peppers, Eggplant & 4 types of tomatoes: Long keepers, Pink Ozark, Homestead, & Canning tomatoes.
Today we reset the greenhouse & I cleared 2 rows and prepped for the beans & peas.
Tomorrow is Imbolc & will continue to clean out the garden beds in honor of spring coming.
Excited for spring 2026!

Fun fact: the multiple breeds of luffa & sunflower come from my daughter giving them to me from her school 💚

2026 planning today!
Time to get started for this year's crops, using a very beautiful Modernism Calendar. February's art is my absolute favorite 📆 Buying seeds from our fav Southern Expose Seed Exchange and writing down details of plant knowledge/reasoning for choosing the specific breed for the garden.
SO Excited to begin ✨☀️🌱💚🌱☀️✨

Got around to processing the turmeric!
4oz powdered turmeric available for $15 per jar.
Most successful harvest thus far, already sold 1/2 a lb fresh!
Apparently Louisiana is behind on the turmeric craze and here I am offering it LOCAL. Be a trend setter, buy my turmeric 😊✨☀️✨😊

One-two more weeks of fermentation for the hot sauce, just need to grind up the dried turmeric, blue eggs everyday, & some greenhouse bell peppers

Tumeric harvest 2025!
If anyone is interested please message me! Last year I sold all tumeric powder after drying within ONE DAY. This year's harvest is pretty abundant!. $10 per 3oz jar dried! I will also sell it fresh if preferred.

Send your prayers and blessings cus this Spicy Lady needs it. An early freeze and look at all those green peppers ALMOST ready.

Here's some Lore: I plant the seeds in February and they take until April to sprout, til August to flower, and November/December to produce (DONT ASK HOW OR WHY ITS BEEN LIKE THIS FOR YEARS)
I am working on keeping them alive year round (they can live up to 3 years!) And this is the first attempt. I need some good juju so you can have som HOT SAUCE! 🤞

After my debut event in early October, I noticed my name attracted more pickle lovers than spicy lovers. Overall, I have more to offer with hot sauce and herbs. With that, I decided to change The Pickled Witch to That Spicy Witch. New logo coming soon! Don't worry I will still make pickled goods, but the name has to be suited to my specialty!
