Our new Let's Get Fried Food Truck will not be finished for about 4 more weeks. She took a nasty tumble about a month ago, and we are building a brand new one its at the manufacture currently and the eta is about 3 -4 weeks!!( the truck that took that tumble was our brand new truck that we got less than a year ago😭😭)
HOWEVER Let's Get Fried Was set to serve at the Morton's gap coal festival Friday and Saturday as she has for almost a decade and we will be bringing it the most popular items off of the truck and serving them with our full Nathan's Famous Menu as we've had to do in the past before.. Like Hannah Montana said.. you get the best of both worlds!!!!

My customers that know ..they know they have to ask for this one... its the Hell's Kitchen Box !!!! this burger is what sold me on buying the Nathan's Famous Franchise!!!
When you want to become a Nathan’s owner , you have to fly out to New York and have lunch And this was one of the items that was presented to me that day And I immediately fell in love with her!!!!

So i took my spin on it and created a Hell's Kitchen Box 😈 WE KEEP IT SAUCY OVER HERE ! customers always ask for XTRRRRRAAAAAA!

THAT SAUCE ON THERE IS WORLD WIDE FAMOUS for a reason just like the name Nathan's Famous ...at ours we are the big name but we are family owned and operated right here in Madisonville and we are the longest running food truck owners here 🖤🖤🖤 we cant wait to see you all tonight!

I want to address something that I normally would not put out there but today I am going to because I am deeply hurt...
But first off, I would like to thank everybody that came out tonight and supported the setup that we booked back on 5/19 & we also did another fundraiser on 6/5..
We raised a good amount of money tonight to go towards the festival that is absolutely free to any And all families and all proceeds go to St Jude thru the car show that is done by a company we bring in to do that..

I was given permission by management to set up here today over a month ago And when I was here on Monday, I confirmed my spot and I was told the other truck had not shown up for several weeks And that I could come here on wednesday afternoon.... when I arrived, I seen that there was another food truck here so I went inside And I asked should I reschedule since there was another truck And I was told no that actually the other truck "had not shown up for several weeks and was inconsistent"...

We pulled up towards the other business (harbor freight) that was in the parking lot towards the middle, and every single customer that we waited on tonight was our regular customers, with the exception of the man that I met with the dog on my previous post And one other customer of that I apparently served in eddyville ky because he said, "I have not seen you since you were in eddyville".....

We had customers that pulled up and did not order food. & They dropped money in the bucket to go towards the event, and the other truck actually waved at us And that was the end of it..

About an hour after they left, I get a message on Facebook telling me they hope that I burned in hell for setting up with the other truck and along with some other things said to me (it was their family member ) And I just could not believe what was said to me, because being a franchise owner of a food truck and a food truck owner of 11 years I Have worked with countless trucks, and some you can work with and some you just cannot, but for the most part everyone gets along & we set up together and everybody knows the more the trucks, the more the business and also networking is a great thing And honestly we happily would have had this other truck our the festival..

Honestly, I'm not mad... I am deeply hurt,I had to shut my window early because of how much it bothered me and if you know me and you know my nature & a lot of things don't bother me ..

I was excited for this because I enjoy being able to give something to the community, I love to do things like that & I love to be able to see families come out and enjoy a day with no charge to them except for the food and any of the vendors as they are there to make money. I have talked about being able to do this for years And it's costly, around 20k a festival and we raise this money by sponsorships from local businesses, My food truck setting up and donating the money and Jus’ Burgers setting up and donating their money as well.

At the end of this, just watch what you say to people, because you never know everything what's behind it, especially when you're given permission And have had this plan for weeks and weeks, and sometimes it's just better to ask questions and to talk, rather than to send such hateful messages and to say things you can't take back and I think we've all been there, but we learned from things and we grow up and we try to be respectful to others.
And that's something that I have worked really hard on the last few years.. and honestly, if they're experiencing that much trouble financially, which is what they disclosed to me, we would have helped them and we could have set up a gofundme,We would have raised money, like we would have stepped in.I've done it countless times and ninety percent of it never gets posted because i just dont need gratification!!!! .We do that kind of stuff All the time!

But again, thank you to each and every person that came out today, I look forward to seeing you guys at the festival and Jus Burgers and myself will be doing another fundraiser in the next week and we will be announcing it soon for july 1st . Mark your books for July 11th for the Bluegrass Food Truck Festival !!!!

We have a variety of customers..some have 2 feet and some have 4 feet and we love them all🥰🥰🥰.. Meet bear .. him.and his owner are trying to get to the Appalachian mountains ... I seen them walking by the food truck and bear ran over to me so of course I had to feed this beautiful baby I MEAN LOOK AT THAT FACE!!!!!!

NO QUESTIONS ASKED came out on FATHERS DAY cause my truck went down ! ON FATHERS DAY YALL!!!!!!
Listen this man and his crew deserve a round of applause.. plus they get 1 free meal ANYTIME I am set up ...FOR LIFE!!!!!!

He came out and assessed my truck , we had to end up towing it to his shop monday and they got me back on the road, literally in under four hours..

we got on our way to the Henderson Brewing Co. and my truck died by the exit ..same issue 😭😭 & had to get towed back ,jeff came back out and worked til it was resolved !
We have a this wire touching somewhere, and if you know anything about that, it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack, and it was blowing the fuse to the PCM and fuel pump..
THEY WORKED NON STOP To get me to Owensville So we didnt have to cancel!
Jeff you know how much I appreciate you .. YOU FOREVER HAVE MY BUSINESS !!

Now to the tow companies!
Raymonds towing like always came in and got me together ..Bill Ruckert always gets me together ! Bill you know you eat for free ,you've saved me so many times ..plus your my phone talking buddy lol 😂

2nd towing company Tri State Towing ,they towed me from Henderson to HGI!!!
Super nice people and QUICKKKKKKK.. they was there in 10 mins and drove us to the shop and even handed me my purse I forgot in the truck lol .. I cant remember his name but he was super nice and funny!

HGI works on everything from gas to diesels to HUGE equipment pieces & he understands when your business goes down, That's your money maker. He understands it's important and it's cost Money, your company money because of that downtime and repair cost!!! let's say Big Cheryl (my trucks name 😂) when she goes down,shes an expensive girl!

Let's not forget Owensville Community Planners .. We had a very stressful forty eight hours and I did not want to have to cancel and every dart was flying at us make it to where we was going to have to but our mechanics got us together..THE TOWN WAS SUPER PATIENT AND UNDERSTANDING as we was STRESSED PAST THE MAX!!!! So thank you to each & every person at Owensville!
I'm going to come back on a much different set circumstances next time and I am also going to being my other food truck one time as well!!!..
Yesterday we had to do a super quick restock & our helper who is a pilot had something come in and couldnt make it(our daughter) but we pushed thru as that is what you do! BUT WE MADE IT !!!

The things that go on behind the scenes of businesses would truly break most people...People see the food truck lines, but honestly thats only 25% of the business.. being in this for eleven years, I watched them drop like flies and they talk to me and they're like, I had no idea how hard this was. There was so much work involved. People only seen the fun part & Not everything else that goes on behind the scenes....And it is A-lot!!! !
Thats why I give all props to ALL business owners because being a business owner of 26 years I GET IT AND I SEEN IT ALL..I run big companies for decades ,so I see it all and food trucking is not for the weak at all, 11 years here ! so if any other food truck owners are reading this ..know I see you and proud of you
