The Tommy D’z crew would like to sincerely thank you all for such a busy, successful day marking the return of our handmade pizzas! Our faithful customers sold us out in record time, and we are so appreciative of your continued support.
It’s no secret that we are a family owned and operated business, but few people know just how small our staff truly is. We only have two people working in the kitchen, one of those being the business owner herself. When pizza orders come in, she solely handles those orders as the grill cook handles the rest. They have a great system down, but when the front is full of customers, call in orders are coming through, and DoorDash is going off, it can be a lot. We were incredibly busy, and while we’re so thankful for the amazing support, we know that waiting longer than expected can be frustrating. We truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and grace as our team worked hard to keep up.
And while most customers were understanding and supportive, we did have a few not-so-nice ones as well. Please refrain from cursing and disrespecting our servers. Some of them are teenagers doing their best, and they cannot control the time it takes to complete orders in the kitchen. They deserve the same kindness and patience we strive to show our customers.
Tomorrow is a new day, and we are hopeful and ready for it to be a good one! Thank you again for your support and love for Tommy D’z!
