Reminder that we’re now participating in Protein Plus, a new nutrition incentive program spearheaded by the New Mexico Farmers Marketing Association, which allows qualifying customers to get 50% off NM-grown/raised meat, eggs, and nuts. To sign up, fill out a form in person at the shop to self-identify the way(s) you qualify. You’ll get a card you can use at our store, or at other participating outlets or farmers markets. There’s a limit of $20 discounted per transaction but you don’t need to pay with EBT to use this discount, unlike the Double Up Food Bucks discount for produce. (But you can, of course.)

We have a whole lotta local food available right here in Madrid, NM, open year-round every day but Tuesdays!

We're excited to be participating in this new nutrition incentive program spearheaded by the New Mexico Farmers Marketing Association!

Qualifying customers can get 50% off NM-grown/raised meat, eggs, and nuts. This is great news for eating well and for supporting the producers in our community!

To sign up, fill out a form in person at any of the participating outlets (like Village Greengrocer) to self-identify the way(s) you qualify. You'll get a card you can use at our store, or at farmers markets and outlets that are also participating. There isn't a limit per customer on funds used toward this discount, but there is a limit of $20 discounted per transaction.
