Good evening folks! We have a deal you don’t want to miss! We will be selling a majority of our coturnix quail flock for the winter season at a discounted price of $3 a bird! The black soldier fly farm has been upgraded! With 10 tubs and 3 catch systems, the process to harvest these wrigglers will make it alot easier to feed the quail for the winter. There are multiple pros to raising black soldier flies but the three that help us the most it a free food source for the quail, excellent compost that will boost our plants immune systems, and a way to get rid of our quail manure.

Today was snack day for the birds! We sifted out the mealworm bins and harvested a little over a pound for this winter. Mealworms are high in proteins and fats to help the birds stay nice and warm! Happy birds=good egg production!

Time to make some dog treats. Quail feet are a great treat for smaller dogs! They help with dental hygiene and add protein, calcium, and more vitamins you their diet. Quail hearts also make a great topper or treat for dogs because it contains phosphor and calcium which is not found to often in store bought treats and foods. It is advised that quail feet are givin in moderation and supervision is recommended.
