.June ➡️ July on the farm: motherhood + farming.🌱💛
🌻This summer looks a little different than any before. These days I wear two hats every time I head to the farm—farmer and mama. Baby M joins me on every farm visit, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
🌻We celebrated our biggest watermelon harvest yet, bringing in **450+ pounds** of sweet summer goodness!
🌻James has been holding down our Saturday farmers market stand while I keep the kiddos cool during the hottest part of these Texas mornings.
🌻Baby M’s favorite things? Giggling and watching the trees dance in the wind.
🌻Behind the scenes, I’ve been dreaming up new ideas for future CSA boxes, and I can’t wait to share them with you.
🌻As our family grew, our farm team unexpectedly became smaller, so we’ll be posting job openings soon as we continue growing.
🌻Despite the heat, our summer crops are thriving! Peppers, okra, eggplant, cucumbers, and melons are producing beautifully. We even added summer baby greens this season, and they’ve been a pleasant surprise.
🌻We’ve also been incredibly blessed by the coolest handyman around. Tom has a gift for making the farm better wherever he can. He recently built the beautiful wooden market display trays you’ve probably seen at the farmers market, filled with little boxes of okra, peppers, eggplants, and so much more.
🌻Building a farm while raising a newborn isn’t easy—honestly, balancing a newborn with any career is no small task. I’m incredibly grateful for the family and friends who have stepped in to support us. Their kindness, encouragement, and willingness to help have made this season so much sweeter.
Thank you for following along and supporting our little farm through every season. 💛🌻
