Fall is right around the corner, and the fields at Daphodill Farm are officially getting ready for fall planting and harvest! 🌻
Our 10-week Fall CSA program kicks off September 19th, and we’d love to share our fresh, locally grown produce with your family this season. Whether you’re cooking for one or feeding a full table, we’ve got options sized just right for you!
Bonus: The first 10 people to sign up get a little something extra tucked into their first box! 🌻
Pickups are flexible every weekend (Saturday or Sunday), and we’ll send out a weekly preview email so you always know what farm-fresh goodness to expect.
Spaces are limited—secure your spot by September 6 to get in on the first harvest!
🌻 Reserve your box today at Daphodillfarm.com . 🌻

Our summer pop-up farm stand was AWESOME!!! 🌱 Especially with the farm as the backdrop. 💛

It got us thinking… what if we did something similar - once a month on the farm?

Small, seasonal, family-friendly gatherings where you can slow down, enjoy the farm, and experience something a little different each month. 🌻

Depending on the season, we’re thinking:
🍽️ Farm dinners
🍅 Farm-to-table tastings
🌱 Small gardening classes
💐 Flower arranging
🥕 Kids’ farm activities
🧺 Seasonal pop-up farm stands
…and more!

What would YOU love to see happen at the farm?👇🏾

We’d love to build these experiences around what our community actually wants. 💛🌻

.June ➡️ July on the farm: motherhood + farming.🌱💛

🌻This summer looks a little different than any before. These days I wear two hats every time I head to the farm—farmer and mama. Baby M joins me on every farm visit, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

🌻We celebrated our biggest watermelon harvest yet, bringing in **450+ pounds** of sweet summer goodness!

🌻James has been holding down our Saturday farmers market stand while I keep the kiddos cool during the hottest part of these Texas mornings.

🌻Baby M’s favorite things? Giggling and watching the trees dance in the wind.

🌻Behind the scenes, I’ve been dreaming up new ideas for future CSA boxes, and I can’t wait to share them with you.

🌻As our family grew, our farm team unexpectedly became smaller, so we’ll be posting job openings soon as we continue growing.

🌻Despite the heat, our summer crops are thriving! Peppers, okra, eggplant, cucumbers, and melons are producing beautifully. We even added summer baby greens this season, and they’ve been a pleasant surprise.

🌻We’ve also been incredibly blessed by the coolest handyman around. Tom has a gift for making the farm better wherever he can. He recently built the beautiful wooden market display trays you’ve probably seen at the farmers market, filled with little boxes of okra, peppers, eggplants, and so much more.

🌻Building a farm while raising a newborn isn’t easy—honestly, balancing a newborn with any career is no small task. I’m incredibly grateful for the family and friends who have stepped in to support us. Their kindness, encouragement, and willingness to help have made this season so much sweeter.

Thank you for following along and supporting our little farm through every season. 💛🌻

Finally getting around to seeding our fall tomatoes! 🍅 This season, I'm keeping it simple and focusing on a handful of quick-maturing varieties—mostly cherry tomatoes with a couple of salad tomatoes mixed in. They'll all be grown in the hoophouse to extend the season and keep fresh tomatoes coming well into the fall. Here's hoping for a productive season!💛🌻
