Learning and accepting that sometimes God’s answer to our prayers might be a no, not yet, or a yes, can be hard to absorb. However, God’s will is always better. Therefore, we can trust that whatever His answer will be, it is best for us, even when it’s hard to accept or not what we wanted. He is growing us in steadfastness, patience, and love in our faith.

God is sovereign. Nothing happens on this earth apart from His hand. His plan and will are perfect always and far better for us than anything we could ever imagine. Because He is always good and works things to the good of those who love Him, we can trust that even when we don’t understand this life and the circumstances in it, we can trust Him through it all.

God is our one and only holy God, worthy of all of our praises. His plan is perfect for His glory and our good. He should be glorified in everything we do every day. When it’s His will to heal someone, He should get the glory. However, when it’s someone’s time to go home and be with the Lord, then God can be glorified by the race that he or she ran here on earth. How these saints have lived their lives for Christ by loving Him first, spreading the gospel, and being a light and love to others, will always bring Him glory. Their race is finished well and results in eternal glory.

“The Moon is Always Round” by Jonathan Gibson is an incredible book. It tells a story regarding loss and the grief that goes along with it. However, there is also a catechism throughout the book that teaches your kids that the moon is always round, no matter the phase, and that God is always good, no matter the circumstances. This resource has been extremely helpful personally and an amazing reminder of God’s goodness. Winnie Kate’s Kids sends out grief packets to families who have experienced loss, and this book is part of that package. We encourage all readers to check it out!

We are all born sinners, in need of a Savior, saved by His grace. There is nothing on this earth that we can do to earn our salvation. However, once we have been saved by His grace, we will never lose that salvation. We are His children, all the days on this earth and for eternity. Believe and call on Him today.

All we, as Christians, have to do is trust and obey God. His plans are far better than any of our own and will always work for the glory of Him and the good of us.
